The AXIS S-Series – Front Wing
FIREBALL
Get ready to take your foiling to the next level. Win the race, cross the channel, smash your personal bests. Whatever your goal is, paddle up, stay up, and go further with the AXIS Fireball range.
The key to the unique performance of the AXIS Fireball foil range is its all-new high-lift/low-drag foil section, with outlines featuring aspect ratio 13 and ULTRA high modulus carbon construction, tested and refined over a multitude of iterations by our devoted AXIS team. This refined performance leap is here now, and yours to enjoy.
The AXIS Fireball front wings are our highest-performance foils to date. They’re very easy to use, with better stability across a much broader (and higher) speed range than we have ever achieved before.
And don’t let the reduced surface area of the Fireball series fool you. These foils have some serious range.
What makes the AXIS Fireball foils so unique?
ULTRA high modulus carbon construction. These thin, skinny, super high-aspect foils demand the stiffest construction, allowing you to extract every ounce of performance out of the foil section from tip to tip.
Aspect Ratio (AR) 13 – super high aspect design – promotes reduced drag, allowing you to pump faster, with more forward projection than ever before. You can run with swells, go up and over easily and chase down bumps in front of you.
Our high-lift, low-drag Fireballs have incredible lift and carry, simply refusing to stall where other foils would have dropped out long ago. This unique lift and carry design allows you to get flying earlier and with less effort. Dreaded touchdowns can now be pumped out of with relative ease.
Overall increased efficiency means advanced riders will be able to reduce foil area substantially, so you can conserve energy gain in speed and range while completing longer runs. You can choose a slightly reduced span, or ride approximately 200cm² less surface area than previously with the Fireball range.
The Fireball’s new foil section is very pitch stable which allows riders to drop down one or two skinny rear wing sizes. This further increases speed and reduces drag.

ARTPRO V2
3 years is a lifetime when it comes to foiling. And that’s how long it took us to come up with the worthy successor of the original ART; the foil that made history, with its different appearance and groundbreaking performance.
Today, we are thrilled to introduce the ART v2.
The AXIS ART v2 is a brand-new foil series that sits between the AXIS Spitfire and ART PRO wing ranges, offering the perfect blend of the Spitfire’s powerful smooth carving, and the ART PRO’s low-drag glide and speed. The ART v2 is a High Aspect wing sporting an Aspect Ratio of ~10 across the series, fitting perfectly between the Spitfire (average 7.5 AR) and the ART PRO (12+ AR). And as any v2 should, it just does everything much better!
Wingers, whether you are free riding, wave riding or just chasing the ultimate in efficient cruising, you will love the speed, balance, stability, turning and carving of the ART v2 in all wind and water conditions. And if you are into freestyling, the ART v2 is reinforced with Ultra High Modulus carbon for extra rigidity and strength.
Sharing the Spitfire’s multitalented DNA, the ART v2 is also the wing that will give wing foilers the confidence to use it in other foiling disciplines such as prone, downwind, SUP, FoilDrive (FD), windsurf, wake or kite. It’s a front wing that excels at winging, and also holds its own in every other foiling discipline.
AXIS ART v2 is available in the following wingspan lengths:

Notes from our design team:
The AXIS ART v2 is a foil that retains great glide and pump due to its span (like an ART PRO), while the reduced area in the tips allows us to retain the looser predictable turning characteristics of a much smaller wing. (similar to the Spitfire)
We achieved that by using a very tapered outline, we reduced the second moment of area for roll, and worked to achieve a perfectly elliptical span-wise lift distribution.
We have strategically reinforced the ART v2 with military-grade Ultra High Modulus carbon in addition to our existing layups creating a stronger connection between the wing and the fuselage, which provides quicker response, better performance and additional strength.
The ART v2 comes with a unique waterproof X-Ply / Mylar material bag with reinforcements, to keep your foil well-protected from impact, and elements.
ART v2 is optimised for the Black Advance+ fuselage range and is ideally paired with either the Skinny or smaller Progressive rear wing ranges.
SPITFIRE
Imagine a dedicated surf foiling wing, that lets you foil waves like a surfer would. If you’re anything like us, you’ve been dreaming of an effortless turning wing, that inspires confidence when dropping in, that has a gentle, predictable easy lift up onto foil. A foil that not only handles breaches but encourages them. No wave is the same, sometimes you need a turn of speed, and on another you need to slow right down but stay on foil. A wing you can just forget about and get on with the business of enjoying yourself. Of course, that wing has to be capable of pumping you back out to do it all again and again. The wait is over, meet the AXIS Spitfire.
You’ll recognise it by its distinctive elliptical outline, straight median line and lack of aggressive turndown through the tips. Moderate chord lengths, that taper smoothly from the centre to the tips, encourage smooth, predictable but precise turning. Reduced foil thickness for enhanced top end to compliment the greater chords providing easy low end.
Many of these attributes are shared by the ARTPRO Range of wings, and in fact much of what we learned in the development of that line fed into the Spitfire’s make-up.
Through the development process, we put the Spitfire through its paces. The smaller sizes are fast with explosive turning. The larger sizes are great for smaller spots and larger riders. The Spitfires are versatile front wings, able to ride waves or flat water across prone, SUP, winging, wake, downwind, lake pumping and kite foiling disciplines. They do it all.
Spitfire foils are ideally matched with our Black Advance fuselage and Progressive or Skinny rear wing ranges.

NEW ARTPRO
The ART PRO 1401, really challenges the phrases, Bumps too small to go out… or, There’s not enough wind to get going…
Designed as a small-bump down-wind machine, the ART PRO 1401 excels in low-energy swells and light wind conditions. Opening up wing foiling in very light conditions, the ART PRO 1401 is really fast, barely slower than the ART PRO 1201 and turns incredibly well for such a large wing.
After the great reception the ART1099 received, it seemed obvious that we should build a bigger one. We swung into action with the intent of rolling out an ART1199… that’s where the 2-year ARTPRO odyssey began.
Not content to just scale up an already tried and true formula we went to work (our longest development cycle to date), testing countless iterations, all building on the success of the one before, the result we believe is something really special, so special in fact that collectively we decided it would herald in an entirely new range for AXIS, the ARTPRO’s.
Leading the charge is the ARTPRO 1201, designed for fast downwinding and bigger guys, but don’t get the wrong impression, this is the wing Dylan Bez prone paddled up for a World Record Marathon 3hr and 6min continuous Surf pump session (left his board shorts at home so went out in work shorts, he had to stop because it got dark? Averaging 18.8km/h and covering a whopping 58km in distance all without getting wet again)
The design requirements of the ARTPRO 1201, were unprecedented glide, fast and nimble feel, unparalleled large span turning, great breach control, crucial for a wing of this span and finally early lift and low stall speed.
Based on our Black fuselage platform, ARTPRO 1201 will slot straight into your existing quiver, but really comes alive when paired with our Black Advance fuselages and our Skinny rear wings.
If you need screws for this wing, don’t forget to add a screwset to your order.
Fast high-performance wings, that offer a new level of performance potential for riders to exploit. While they deliver amazing performance characteristics, they are relatively easy for competent riders to excel on.
Each member of the ARTPRO Range is a wing in its own right, not simply scaled versions of its closest sibling. All the ARTPRO‘s share the following:
- An extended elliptical outline.
- A straight median line for better turning and control.
- Narrower chords for lower drag overall.
- Less overall turn down especially in the tips.
- Less complicated shapes in general.
- Lower drag foil section on the smaller versions.
The AXIS Board Spectrum Carve Series Front Wing 1060mm – 970mm – 890mm -810mm – 740mm The Broad Spectrum Carve (BSC) wings are a new direction into easy to ride wings, with good amount of performance embedded to the design. The AXIS S-Series 1300mm PNG V2Carbon Front Wing
New school pumping weapon
The original PNG 1300, introduced in 2020, was a groundbreaking foil, with its impressive 1300mm wingspan and a high aspect ratio of 9.94; a foil that is not only large in surface area but also remarkably efficient and fast; a foil way ahead of its time and extremely popular in the recent seasons.
The advent of the downwind foiling discipline saw the PNG 1300 become the go-to foil for beginners entering the challenging world of downwind. Its exceptionally low stall speed enables early take-off, while impressive glide, acceleration and controlled speed have allowed riders to connect bumps and maintain momentum in weak to moderate swell and wind conditions. Its intuitive pumping characteristics make it easy to recover from mistakes and navigate, even if you’re not yet skilled in the art of finding the perfect line to link the bumps.
When developing the AXIS PNG 1300 v2, we were determined not to compromise on any of these outstanding features. We have succeeded in enhancing every detail and adding a few more you wouldn’t imagine possible on a wing of this size.
The completely reimagined new PNG 1300v2 now runs on our Black fuselage series (we recommend our latest Black Advance+ range).
The AXIS PNG 1300v2 boasts low stall speeds, lower drag, better acceleration, better turning and a significantly higher top-end speed – thanks to its finely tuned High Camber (High-lift) / Low-drag foil section.
The 1300 v2 has reduced surface area (1632 sq cm) compared to the previous PNG 1300 (1712 sq cm), but with the addition of its new foil section, it achieves the same capacity for early lift.
Vastly improved turning and a balanced lift distribution ensure a smooth, stable and comfortable ride, with predictable pitch control that makes navigating between bumps and pumping a breeze.
This stability is crucial for light wind or novice downwinders, offering a more agile manoeuvrable experience than the original PNG 1300. We’ve also extended its glide range, for unlocking new distances and manoeuvres when pumping flat water. You’ll be amazed at how much further you can glide between pumps without losing speed or height.
All these features make the AXIS PNG 1300v2 an amazing addition for dock starters, of all levels. The lower drag, improved glide and reduced stall speed are fantastic for those who are progressing and have found that the bigger slow wings are just not much fun anymore.
Use the PNG 1300v2 for SUP/Prone surfing when in smaller or lower energy surf. The amount of lift that the wing creates to get you moving and stay up on micro-waves is astounding.
And let’s not forget that the AXIS PNG 1300v2 transforms what’s possible for some of the lightest winds while winging. The new AXIS PNG 1300v2 will get you flying before others and start enjoying again ultra light wind winging.
Specs: WINGSPAN: 1300 mm, MAX CHORD: 125.4mm , ASPECT RATIO: 10.36, AREA 1662 sq/in, VOLUME: 1773 cm3
