CLAN Wing Project
CLAN Wing Project
Wing surfing is the sport of riding a foil board, or a standard SUP, while carrying a hand-held inflatable sail.
Surfing with a CLAN Wing Project is a complement, an addition, an alternative, and subgenre of wave riding and sailing. It’s not supposed to replace windsurfing, kiteboarding, and surfing.
Surfing was not designed to ride faster or jump higher. It’s all about carving around, having fun, and bringing the wind element to water sports enthusiasts that have only experienced wave riding and have never sailed before.
The Hand-Held Sail
The equipment is relatively easy to put together. It has no rigging components, no lines, bars, booms or masts. All you have to do is inflate the lightweight wing and get to the water.
Simplicity is the concept behind it.
If you’re riding a SUP board, then five knots of wind will get you faster than you can paddle.
Wing surfing allows you to go upwind and downwind.
Unlike in windsurfing, you’re not riding the sail vertically – you’re constantly changing between having it over your head and having it sideways.
The project has been developed with attention and love, after three year experinces, need to be added in your quiver to fly free
CLAN Wing Project
Enjoying your time in and above the water has never been as easy as it is today with the CLAN Project Wing.
Easy to handle and especially fun to use in different fields.
You can combine the CLAN Wing with a AXIS foil and fly above the surface with ease, use it on a SUP board to play with the wind or carve on a skateboard, when there’s no water in sight.
